Policy brief: Energy Poverty in the EU
Harriet Thomson and Dr Carolyn Snell from the University of York have created a short policy brief on energy poverty in the European Union, detailing their current work on EU policy and the measurement of fuel poverty. The policy brief has been launched during the 2013 EU Sustainable Energy Week to raise awareness of energy poverty as a policy issue, and to emphasise the importance of recognising the consequences of energy policy financing on consumers.
