DescriptionFondazione Giuseppe Di Vittorio (FDV) is a non-profit institute for historical, social, economic research and for trade union education and training. FDV has a consolidated experience in European projects’ management and is a member of a transnational level network focused on Welfare and citizenship’s rights, Industrial Relations, Social Dialogue, Collective bargaining, Information, consultation and participation of representatives of undertakings & EWCs. Thanks to a 40 year experience legacy, FDV also belongs to a consolidated transnational network of research and training organisations and academic centres.
The thematic section “Energy, development and innovation” carries out researches on energy systems and the dynamics of innovation and technological development. The aim is to analyse how they affect work processes, the production chain, and organizational, management and territorial structure, to develop intervention strategies for trade union action.
The research areas include: the green economy; the development of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency; green building; emerging green professions and skills; the transformation of local public systems; regional energy policies; fuel poverty and policies to combat energy poverty.
