Description
The measure provides financial assistance to certain households to cover their energy bills during cold weather in the winter period (November 1 - March 31). Cold weather is defined as a period when the average temperature has been recorded as, or is forecast to be, 0 degrees Celsius or below over seven consecutive days.
Results
The programme made 131,000 payments in the winter of 2016-2017, totalling had an expenditure of £ 3.3 million in expenditures.
